Ms. Yang began her music journey at the age of six. As a soloist, recitalist and chamber musician, she has appeared internationally in such venues as London&#8217;s Cadogan Hall, the Salle Gaveau in Paris, the Seoul Arts Center, Beijing&#8217;s National Centre for the Performing Arts, the Kennedy Center, Alice Tully Hall, Zankel Hall and Weill Hall. Ms. Yang has appeared as a soloist with the Aspen Young Artists Orchestra, KBS Symphony Orchestra, New Amsterdam Symphony Orchestra, the Juilliard Pre-College Symphony Orchestra, Bucheon Philharmonic Orchestra, Ulsan Philharmonic Orchestra, Sarah Lawrence Symphony Orchestra, Daegu Symphony Orchestra, Wonju Symphony Orchestra, Suwon Philharmonic Orchestra, Chuncheon Philhamonic Orchestra and Kangreung Symphony Orchestra, and performed numerous recitals in and around New York and in Korea.</p>
<p>Ms. Yang tours regularly with the distinguished conductor-less Sejong Soloists and was appointed its Samsung Foundation of Culture chair member, a distinction she held from 2006 to 2008. Their latest album on the Universal label, &#8220;Passion,&#8221; consists of her solo performances of Piazzolla&#8217;s Four Seasons&#8217; &#8220;Summer&#8221; and a short piece by Ponce/Heifetz Estrellita. Ms. Yang&#8217;s performances have also been heard on radio and television broadcasts such as NPR’s From the Top, guest appearances on Korea’s National Television Show “Art Theatre” as well as the KBS arts program show “Classic Odyssey,&#8221; Japan’s NHK and the national radio show in Slovenia. She has performed at the United Nations celebrating Earth Day. She also has performed at festivals around the world including the Aspen Music Festival, Great Mountain Music Festival (Korea), Festival Music Alp (Courchevel, France), Sarasota Music Festival, Tongyeong International Music Festival (Korea) and the International Heyri Art Festival (Korea).</p>
<p>Ms. Yang has collaborated with distinguished artists such as Joseph Kalichstein and Cho-Liang Lin. She’s dedicated to expanding the scope of the traditional concert format, including teaming up with text artist Youngeun Kim and violinist Frank Huang at the Loop gallery in Korea for a multi-media presentation of Prokofiev Sonata for Two Violins. She has been invited to perform Ligeti and Komitas (Korea premiere) works for SFX International Sound Art Festival.</p>
<p>Ms. Yang received her bachelor&#8217;s and master&#8217;s degrees in music from the Juilliard School and an artist diploma from Yale University under the tutelage of Hyo Kang and Dorothy DeLay. Ms. Yang has played in master classes for Ruggiero Ricci, Itzahk Perlman, Rodney Friend, Robert McDuffie, Dong-Suk Kang and Igor Ozim. Ms. Yang plays a Petrus Guarnerius violin, made in Venice in 1723.</p>

Having made his New York debut to a sold out audience in Alice Tully Hall in 2009, Mr. Fleming has established himself as an exceptional solo and chamber recitalist. Mr. Fleming joined the internationally acclaimed Attacca Quartet in November of 2009 and is currently an Artist Diploma Candidate at the Juilliard School, where he studies with Samuel Rhodes. Recent concert appearances include performances at the Marlboro Music School and Festival, the Steans Institute at Ravinia, and the Norfolk and Sarasota Chamber Music Festivals, as well as concerts and festivals in Japan, Korea, Australia, England, Spain, Poland, Denmark, Germany, Austria, and Mexico. In 2011, Mr. Fleming was featured on a Live from Marlboro CD release on the Archiv Music label, and his recording with the Attacca Quartet of the complete string quartet works of John Adams for Azica records will be released in March 2013. He has performed as a guest artist with the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, Sejong Soloists, Ensemble ACJW, Continuum, and AXIOM, among others. A native of New Orleans, Mr. Fleming holds a Doctorate of Musical Arts and Masters of Music from Juilliard, a Graduate Diploma with Distinction from the Royal Academy of Music in London, and a Bachelor of Music summa cum laude from Louisiana State University. He is represented by Arts Global, Inc. and with the Attacca Quartet by Columbia Artists Management, Inc.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://georgianchamberplayers.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/Julie-Coucheron-headshot.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-250" title="Julie Coucheron" src="http://georgianchamberplayers.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/Julie-Coucheron-headshot-239x300.jpg" alt="" width="239" height="300" /></a>We are excited to announce that Julie Coucheron is joining the Georgian Chamber Players!  Originally from Oslo, Norway, Julie Coucheron has established an international career, winning first prize in all the national competitions she has attended, in addition to winning prizes in Italy, Germany and in the United States. Ms. Coucheron has worked with musicians such as Lazar Berman, Claude Frank, Emanuel Ax, Vladimir Feltsman, John O’ Connor, Elton John and Chistopher O’Riley and has toured Europe, America, South America and Asia, playing in great halls like Verizon Hall, Wigmore Hall, Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center.</p>
<p>Ms. Coucheron started playing the piano at the age of four. She earned her Bachelors and Masters degrees with honors from the Royal Academy of Music in London studying with Christopher Elton and Michael Dussek in addition to getting her teaching Diploma at the same institution.</p>
<p>Ms. Coucheron is Artistic Director at the Fjord Cadenza Music Festival in Norway and is also a frequent guest artist at festivals such as the Oslo Chamber Music Festival, Bergen International Music Festival, the Kon Tiki Classical Music Fest, Amelia Island Chamber Music Festival and at La Jolla Summerfest.</p>
<p>In September 2002 she released her first recording, ‘Debut’ on the Naxos label, together with her brother David containing lyrical and virtuoso music from the classical repertoire. The response was excellent and it sold more than 40.000 copies in Norway alone.</p>
<p>Julie and her brother David released their second recording ‘David and Julie’ on the Mudi/Naxos label in September 2008. This recording contains sonatas by Grieg and Brahms and got brilliant reviews.</p>
<p>In 2009 she won first prize at the Pinerelo International Chamber music Competition in Italy together with her brother.</p>
<p>Since graduating from the Royal Academy of Music in 2009 she regularly tours Europe and America as a freelance soloist and chamber musician.</p>
